Which Bible Are You Reading?

I’m Catholic now, but I served as a pastor in a Protestant church for several years. The denomination I belonged to was primitivist and fundamentalist. I don’t say that pejoratively; they serve as accurate descriptors. We believed that somewhere after the first century Christianity lost its way, and we wanted to “restore” the church to its apostolic-period roots as we understood them.
